    From the article:

    In the period after 9/11, ninety-one per cent of Americans were proud of U.S. troops, according to a Pew survey, and the military was the most trusted institution in the nation.

    It's a long article but well worth the trouble to read it.

    Richard Marcinko founder of SEAL Team 6 said there were less than 400 Seals who served in Vietnam and He has met all 5,000 of them.
