John 14:6 New Living Translation (NLT)

6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Amarillo is in the northern Texas panhandle.

Here in the Dallas area the forecast is mid-40s low to mid-50s high. It's not unusual to get a cold spell right before Halloween. Last year we got an unusual first freeze a month early at Halloween.

We did get 7 inches of snow here in Minneapolis 2 days ago. Earlier than I can remember in my lifetime. I plan on driving by the paid-protester tent camp in north Minneapolis to see how they are faring lol. Nothing gets rid of the riff-raff faster than cold weather.

Hoping for a quiet fall-winter here with the rest of the frozen chosen. Its time for another city to take the lead in idiocy for a while.

In 2018 the last freeze here was early February!

I want a repeat of that!

Having lived in ET many years a long time ago, I long for those mild winters, but don't miss the murderous summer heat/humidity.

Last freeze up here this year was mid-May.
Careful...the older I get, the less "life sentence" is a deterrent.

The dead of summer here in the South is like dead of winter in the North... people mostly stay where it's temperature-controlled.

The difference is... we don't have to shovel heat!

And in the dead of summer, I can leave the house anytime I want and not worry about icy roads.
