Agreed, brother! These are the times that try men's souls! But, we are told to consider it pure joy! Truly is amazing to be living in this part of His-story!

Hmmn. Curious ... how is "our society" gonna feel about the matter?
Given the lack of resistance to the many imposing conditions foisted upon wee peepses
I'm thinkin this will be implemented without fanfare.

Wee been the subject of study for a good while.
Them doin the pushin know exactly when, where and how much to push without causin a stampede.

No more paying cash to get on the ILL toll ways.

CHICAGO (AP) - The days of paying cash on the Illinois Tollway are gone forever.
The tollway announced Thursday it’s permanently eliminating cash toll collections and will accept only I-Pass, E-ZPass or online payments.
Customers unable to pay online can pay by check or money order.

I have been pretty much cashless since wy back in 1988, Debit cards are mine friend. Been yusing a debit card some way back then, and have never stopped. LOL
I don't believe in coincidence. I Just got back from our local grocery store. They are only able to accept cash. They cannot take debit cards, credit cards, checks, EBT/Snap or any other electronic payment. If you need anything, it is cash only. They have been down since about 11am this morning. I asked a manager how widespread the outage is and he said the the map is showing the east coast has been hit pretty hard and it looks like it is moving westward. It was beginning to affect Phoenix at about 3:30 pm.

Just found this (Published 9 minutes ago):

Customers are reporting credit-card payment outages nationwide at restaurants and stores across the US, including Chick-fil-A and Ikea - Business Insider

Businesses across the US are accepting cash only as their credit-card payments systems are down.

This happened Wednesday. Think it's related?

Fed glitch shuts down wire transfers, direct deposits, other services - ars technica

Federal Reserve electronic systems that enable US banks to send each other electronic payments experienced a massive outage on Wednesday afternoon. A Fed statement attributed the outage to an "operational error" but didn't provide much more detail.

Electronic payment systems were not fully restored until about 8 or 9 pm last night.

It's possible that there is a serious problem considering the fact that the banking system had serious problems on Wednesday and many retailers were unable to process payments yesterday.

I would advise having a fair amount of cash on hand or, if you can't, buy what you think you will need in case a worse problem arises with cashless payments.

The “mark” has never registered as a decision, to me.

I would take alarm, if I caught myself weighing options.

    There is no decision.

Beg your pardon if I misunderstand, but who's decision is it then, the State's?

D, for some, there is nothing to decide ... water is wet, there is nothing to debate.
Should one need to contemplate, consider an alternative that isn't, then the contemplator
might consider reevaluating their commitment to being Father's Being.

Life is about to become very uncomfortable ....
