Explain, please.

Very briefly, since it takes several services when I teach this subject to cover Revelation chapters 17 and 18.

Those chapters describe a powerful political and economic entity that will dominate the nations of the world in the last days. The nations will hate the whore and she will be destroyed by the beast and the kings that will be allied with him.

The description of the great whore given us in Revelation fits the U.S. more closely than any other power currently on earth. The only part of the description of what she will do that has not yet happened is that she will kill Christians in great numbers. It looks like things are being put in place by the Biden administration that could bring this to pass.

There is much more concerning why I believe the U.S.A. could be the great whore described in Revelation, but instead of trying to lay it all out, I would rather try to answer questions as to why I believe this. I say "could be" because the U.S. could collapse and another power could rise and become the harlot of Revelation. We will have to wait a little while to find out.

I hope to begin to explain some of the reasons I believe the U.S. (either New York city or Washington D.C.) might be MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. My posts will be sporadic because we have a lot going on in the Church. I probably won't comment on every verse. Also, I could be wrong in how I think things will play out, but God's Word will be fulfilled exactly as he has given it.

Revelation chapter 17

1 And there came one of the seven angels
which had the seven vials, and talked with
me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will
shew unto thee the judgement of the great
whore that sitteth upon many waters:

I rejoice in the fact that our Lord has revealed to us many of the things that will happen in the last days. While he hasn't revealed every detail of the events that will take place, he has given us what we need and that is sufficient to sustain us. One of the things God wants us to know is, that though the great whore will persecute and kill many Christians, he is going to destroy her and avenge his saints. This knowledge will strengthen us during the coming persecution because we can look beyond our immediate sufferings to God's deliverance. Even though it may seem as if the forces of evil will prevail, they won't. We have God's Word on it. This is why he shows us her coming judgment.

We also see where the great whore "sitteth upon many waters". God tells us in verse 15 of chapter 17 that the "waters" upon which the woman sitteth represent many people of the world.

15 And he saith unto me, The waters which
thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are
peoples, and multitudes, and nations and
tongues.

I believe the fact that she "sitteth upon" many waters signifies that she exerts control over the many "peoples, and multitudes, and nations and tongues". This would be like a rider sitting upon a horse and controlling it.

Of all the powers on the earth today (political, economic, military or otherwise), which one exerts the most power and control over the "peoples, and multitudes, and nations and tongues" of this world?

Now we have the opposite picture. Who is this woman in scarlet riding on a Beast? She is a whore and the mother of such that to this day carry her false sun-day sabbath, pagan festivals, and other such nonsense. So-called protestants that never made a clean break.


Rev 17:5 And upon her FOREHEAD was a name written, Mystery, Babel the Great, The MOTHER OF Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.


An adulterer, and the term is familiar to us -

Jer 3:3 Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; and you had a WHORES FOREHEAD, you refused to be ashamed.
