From what has been written about these churches, it appears each of them has contractual obligations and property ties with the main Methodist corporation.
If this is the case, they must pay the price of breaking the covenants they have with the main corporation.
For example, if their meeting house is owned or mortgaged to the main corporation
they eihter make a deal or abandon the property.
There is a World Methodist Council. No doubt there are legal obligations between it and separate churches, which is why they need PERMISSION to bail out.
