Re-GUARD or Dis-reGUARD? Don't get in a wreck!
They seem so friendly on the surface, yet are wolves. The deception lies within their doctrines, and exposes the lies they have adopted and defend. The BIG lie - Torah: It’s nailed to the cross. Done away. Fulfilled. Bondage. Legalism. Yoke of slavery. Under the law. Poor old denominationalized pastor Joe, he probably means well, but the Word is clear. LIVE, DO, and GUARD His commandments! Anything less is wolf speak. Do not allow them to demean what YHUH says about His Torah, perfect, restorative wisdom (Ps 19:7). It IS the walk Messiah set for us to walk as well (1Jn 2:6).
What they say “is no more” is the very Torah that SHOULD BE written upon our hearts (Jer 31:33, Heb 8:10, 10:16, Ps 40:8, etc)! Covenant terms! I don’t know what their intended outcome for you would be by teaching that attack strategy, but to believe them WILL get you in a wreck. If they are not guarding the Word, they damn sure aren’t teaching you to. Remember ALL the warnings about the wolves (Matt 7:15, 10:16, Lk 10:3, Acts 20:29)!
Let’s briefly break it down. Here is the first use of the word “guard” (shamar) in Scripture -
“And Yahuah Elohiym took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to GUARD it.” Gen 2:15
That didn’t turn out well, the guard was let down, deception and lies slithered in. That’s always how it happens, failure to guard what He said to guard. Sadly, here we have the next use of the word shamar (guard) -
“So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Keruviym, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to GUARD THE WAY of the tree of life.” Gen 3:24
Rather than guarding Edenic paradise, a guard is now set from THE WAY to the tree of life. Scripture is all about regaining that access, THE WAY will not be gained by disobedience, but by doing and GUARDING His Words. “Blessed are THEY THAT DO His commandments, that THEY MAY HAVE RIGHT to the tree of life...” Rev 22:14
Guarding is a HUGE deal with YHUH and it must be a HUGE deal with us. This next verse is paramount. As far as I am concerned, it’s one of the most vital Scriptures given us to expose error. This verse will make or break pastors, denominations, or any who claim Messiah. It would break any claimed false messiah or expose any false apostle as well. THIS is how YHUH defines what GUARDING is, a direct command given to all of us -
“Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may guard the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem which I command you.” Deu 4:2, 12:32
Messiah could not add or take away, neither could Paul. Nobody can, or they would be outed immediately. I could list page after page of verses that say this very same thing, over and over again, throughout the entirety of Scripture. This is a brief sampling:
“Therefore shall ye GUARD my commandments, and DO them: I am Yahuah.” Lev 22:31 “IF you will enter into LIFE, GUARD the commandments.” Mat 19:17 “GUARD my commandments, and LIVE; and my Torah as the apple of your eye. Pro 7:2 “And BY THIS WE KNOW that we know Him, IF WE GUARD His commands” 1Jn 2:3 “BY THIS WE KNOW that we love the children of Elohiym, when we love Elohiym, and GUARD his commandments. For THIS IS THE LOVE of Elohiym, that we GUARD his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” 1Jn 5:2-3 “I have revealed Your Name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, AND THEY HAVE GUARDED YOUR WORD.” Joh 17:6 “The one who says, “I know Him,” and DOES NOT GUARD His commands, is a LIAR, and the truth is not in him. “But whoever GUARDS His Word, truly the LOVE of Elohim has been PERFECTED in him. BY THIS WE KNOW that we are in Him.” 1Jn 2:4-5
If it’s all “done away” or “fulfilled” as they falsely claim, there would be nothing to guard. Nothing. They are liars whether they know it or not, the duty is on you to prove it for yourself. Rome’s daughters won’t be standing for you on that day. And even before that day, with their lawlessness doctrine you will be left exposed to the coming calamity -
“I know your works – see, I have set before you an open door, and no one is able to shut it – that you have little power, yet HAVE GUARDED My Word, and have not denied My Name. Rev 3:8
“BECAUSE YOU HAVE GUARDED the word of my PATIENCE*, I WILL GUARD YOU from the hour of calamity, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” Rev 3:10
“HERE IS THE PATIENCE* of the saints: here are THEY THAT GUARD the commandments of Elohiym, AND the faith of Yahusha.” Rev 14:12
Re-GUARD or Dis-reGUARD? PEOPLE! BELIEVE the Messiah you claim! NOT the wolves! Heaven and earth are still here, EVERY WORD we are to guard (Matt 5:18, Matt 4:4)!
"The one who says he stays in Him is indebted to walk, even as He walked." 1Jn 2:6
Without Torah, His walk is impossible - it's Rome's walk without Torah.
