Hey, where are we going? And why am I in this handbasket?

The rest of the family had it with chicken and sliced tomatoes. I ate too much of the bread to eat anything else.
BTW, did you know you can bake chicken at 425 degrees? I poured some of the Italian dressing over it and threw it in the oven, while the bread was rising. It turned out great. I might make it that way again.

True. I just never cooked meat at that high a temp before. I thought it would burn on the outside, but be raw on the inside. It wasn't. It was crisp on the outside, but nice and juicy on the inside.
My grandma cooked EVERYTHING wide open - 'high' on top of the stove and 500 deg. in the oven. It's a wonder she didn't burn half her food, but she didn't. She was a good cook. She DID burn out the thermostat on her oven, though. It would only heat to 500, nothing lower.

Thanks Honeybee, Shopping today and will get mozzarella (sp?) Many thanks, always looking for another good bread recipe. Blessings upon all. AL
Finally got to try this recipe - it got 11 thumbs up!
I served it with tater tot casserole and salad. I had made a double recipe and we ate every last bite and would have eaten more.
Thanks!

LOL... I'm glad you all approve! It disappears at high speed around here, too!
