Thank you for bumping this. DD and I are starting our holiday baking. We try to make a different kind of cookie every day, but sometimes we run out of different recipes. This will keep us busy.

Oh, and we try not to eat them all, we spread the misery,...er, joy amongst everyone we know.

I bought a bag of flax the other day at costco and made the cookies from the recipie on the back

not bad, my wife gobbled them up (she's 9 months preggers)

I thought it was funny, her eating my cookies for a change

I modified the recipe and added cranberries, was good too

I made pure almond/butter cookies as a very special treat for hubby and I. I placed the bowl on the table by where he sits and he can help himself anytime!! He is loving every minute of it. I have done all the baking and freezing to add to the Christmas dinner for all the families getting together. Our DD has a celiac problem so I always make sure there are special things for her to eat at gatherings. We only do presents for the youngsters but we chat and munch and watch the little ones having fun.
