    Default Yummie Granola

This granola recipe comes from my college roommate back in the early 70s, yes that long ago!

    CHALLIS' GRANOLA

    8 c rolled oats
    1 c sunflower seeds
    1 c sesame seeds
    1 c wheat germ
    2 c coconut
1 c almonds (whole, broken, or sliced)
    1/2 c flax seed
    1/2 c malt
    1/2 c broken walnuts
    1/2 c broken cashews
    1/2 c Brewer's yeast
    1 T salt

    1 T vanilla
    3/4 c honey
    3/4 c oil
    3/4 c peanut butter
    1 c water

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl.
Stir liquid ingredients together (blender works great).
    Mix together.
Bake on large cookie sheets with edges 1/2" deep.
Baked 275F until golden brown, stirring often. About 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

If you are missing any of the ingredients, it still tastes great!

Actually I also have a recipe for an Omega-3 protein bar that my sister made up. Tastes wonderful and is super nutritious.

    I will post it also.
