    Default Pea Shellers

What is the best pea sheller out there?

All I keep finding on the net is the Lee and the Taylor, and neither one is thought of very highly by the majority of users.

I'm not afraid to spend a few hundred on a good one.

Wore many a roller out on one of these (Taylor), never any complaints. Just gotta take care of it, like anything else.

I think the one my Dad had was a Taylor worked great. We run hundreds of bushels of blackeyed peas thru it. The trick with any sheller is to let the peas sit for a day after picking. The peas don't stick to the shell as bad if they sit for a day.
