    Sounds like all the ingredients for the makings of a real good meat loaf...except the round balls.

    Well I'm making spaghetti tonight with meat balls...so I might steal some of those ingredients for these.

    I was thinking about doing that, lining the pan with bacon, then covering the top with it, too. I think any leftovers would make wonderful sandwiches. I might even double it so I'd be sure to have leftovers.

    just had this tonight for dinner....yep, it's a "do over"!!!

    as i fried the meatballs, i put them into a large casserole dish, poured the sauce over and baked (covered) for 30 minutes. both hubby and my 14 y/o DD just inhaled 4 each. scottykarate is headed back for more.

    i made baked beans with it and it was perfect!
