The sad part is that the School will probably appologize to the woman for the obviously offensive material that aggitated her. The teacher will be fired of course and the student who's head was in the way of her hand will be expelled. On a serious note though. It alludes me how a "person" can act out in such a juvenile way and think they are somehow entitled to great things and success. Seriously I wouldn't have dared act that way as a CHILD for fear of being punished profusely by my parents.

Kayso... if this woman is mentally ill (and if she isn't, she's doing a darned good imitation of it), she truly is NOT in control of her actions. Children over the age of around 2 years ARE, and if they are raised correctly- with gentle, firm consistent discipline, they won't act like that except under extreme provocation or serious stress. In fact, we used to be able to tell when our young ones were getting sick *because* they'd act out in a manner very unusual or 'over the top' for them.

I rather doubt this will play out the way you're envisioning, although with this administration, etc, you NEVER can tell. That's because many of THEM are mentally ill- if you classify being a sociopath as a mental disease. And that's their biggest danger- their sheer unpredictability. It's why we've gone gray and will continue to do so in our daily lives- because the majority of those in power, from local politics all the way to the top, are sociopaths.

I disagree on the mental illness. It's more of a conditioning that they go through in the way they grow up and drug abuse. I've seen this a few times. It goes from calm to storm in a blink of an eye.

The disturbing thing is how totally racist her rant was. I believe something has been released in this country in recent years. I remember my daughter's recollection of the 2008 election, when she was in college. After the results came in showing Obama had won the White House, she heard a lot of racket outside, and wondered what it was. Oh yeah, she thought, Obama won the election. His supporters must be celebrating! But when she went outside, she realized it was something different entirely. Obama's supporters were venting rage, and superiority, and were out of control. They were shouting obscenities at white people, and banging on passing cars with their fists! It's nothing but hatred.

For many generations, black people were abused and mistreated in this country. That was the tinder. Then the generation arose that "knew not God," and that was the gasoline. Now, a demonic oppression has been poured out in this country . . . and that's the match.

That girl was cursing and threatening her teacher (who was Japanese, I think) and her fellow-students (the majority of which were black). She kept screaming about "white people killing the blacks." Now, when did that happen? The only black person I remember being killed recently (in the headlines) was that young man who was killed by a HISPANIC man.

This was completely irrational. The woman was crazy with irrational rage and hatred. Whether it was a psychotic break, or she was off her meds, or she was demon-possessed, does anyone here want to meet 3 dozen such maniacs in the streets? You better get your zombie-gear in order.

This is a good assessment, grower. I'll take issue with only one thing.

They have been sold a bill of goods, by their own people. I don't think the KKK activities were as prolific and widespread as most believe. I could be wrong, but I believe that it has been blown out of proportion.

There were also more white slaves than black. And, whites have been subjected to the same abuse, if not more so, simply from the population numbers.

I gotta say, the blacks didn't back down because this just looks like any other day in the hood. They're used to it. Many blacks over-react in just this way all the time. Very emotional towards family members, etc. It doesn't look all that odd to me. I've seen melt downs like this hundreds of times. It's the adult version of a child's temper tantrum.

...but white people, I don't think they're used to seeing it. It's scary to them.
