House Expected to Follow Senate’s Lead on Rush to Repeal Health Law

    WASHINGTON
    — The House is expected to give final approval on Friday to a measure
that would allow Republicans to speedily gut the Affordable Care Act
with no threat of a Senate filibuster,
a move that would thrust the question of what health law would come
next front and center even before President-elect Donald J. Trump takes
    office.

House approval would come after the Senate narrowly approved the same
measure, a budget blueprint, in the pre-dawn hours on Thursday.
Americans woke up Thursday to the realization that a Republican Congress
was deadly serious about eviscerating President Obama’s signature
domestic achievement — a move that could leave 20 million Americans
unsure of their health coverage and millions more wondering if
protections offered by the Affordable Care Act could soon be taken away.

OMG if our legislature repeals Obutthole care then it would allow free enterprise and a free market to be established.

Also, if they remove the state line restrictions (must have an office in the state to provide insurance in that state) OMG it would allow competition...

Woe is us what will we do when the government no longer controls our health care, woe is us...

GOP Leaders Say Obamacare Repeal Bid to Advance Despite Jitters

House leaders predict the chamber will approve a measure Friday to
enable a swift repeal of Obamacare, but their confidence belies the deep
confusion and skepticism among Republicans about the risky path to
    enacting a replacement.

“This is the first of several steps that
we will be taking to deliver relief to Americans who are struggling
under this law,” House Speaker Paul Ryan told reporters Thursday.

Good. Take it out back and put it out of our misery. You do understand that insurance is only good if you can actually use it and this is nothing more than a giant tax to give money to mega corporations. Have seen what this garbage cost vs what it covers and let's talk deductibles.

Seriously all they have accomplished with this crap is to make catastrophic insurance cost far more than it ever did in the past under threat of IRS screwing with your life. In the private sector it is called extortion and this particular racket is usually run by the mob. You know, pay the insurance or maybe windows get broke, merchandise stolen or building catches fire. On teh other hand if you pay the mob insurance and some idiot decides to rip you off there is a chance justice will be administered to the perp as the mob really doesn't like people screwing with their rackets.

And with that fine production of debunked debunkery, off to the home of true-speak it goes.

GOP's First Step to Kill Obamacare Launches Messaging War

Republican senators took a significant step toward repealing the
Affordable Care Act in the late hours of Wednesday night, voting to
advance a budget that sets up the process to repeal the health care law.
Democrats, unable to block the budget, forced votes on a series of
amendments intended to squeeze Republicans on divisive health care
    issues.

Wednesday night’s session, which trickled into the early hours of
Thursday morning, was the first in what will likely be a series of
messaging battles between Democrats and Republicans over the future of
health care that is sure to continue as the GOP tries to replace
Obamacare and be a major factor in the 2018 midterm elections.
