The White House was blinded by the Special Counsel announcement -- given only about a 30-minute heads up
Reminder: Mueller was FBI Director when he & then-DAG James Comey together intervened at Ashcroft's bedside in 2004 & threatened to resign.
Bill Kristol --
SHOT: Trump fires Comey, using Rosenstein memo as partial justification.
CHASER: Rosenstein appoints Comey ally Mueller as special counsel.

Evan McMullin again?
You guys are more dopey than I thought.
You do realize who's going down, don't you?
Here's a hint. It ain't Trump......
We will have so much winning if I get elected that you may get bored with the winning
Is anyone else tired of all the winning yet?
Desperate for anything, Twit.
After all is said and done, he will still be your President. Unless of course, your side whacks him.
My source has told me that Hillarys twitching. The pedophile is getting as much fake news out of the WP as fast as he can.
Still checking on Lynch, Rice, etc.....
Republicans get radio silence from Trump amid growing crisis
The Trump White House has done essentially no damage control in the
aftermath of reports that ousted FBI Director James Comey wrote a memo
alleging that Trump tried to kill a probe into former national security
adviser Michael Flynn. No talking points have been distributed, and few
reassurances have been given to Republicans, leaving frazzled and
exhausted lawmakers to freelance their own response.
Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), whose job in leadership is to help
Republicans formulate a message and conceivably defend a president of
their own party, had received no outreach from the White House as of
Wednesday afternoon.
“I’ve not heard that from them. I’ve heard nothing. I should,
shouldn’t I? I’m not sure that there’s that level of organization,”
Thune said. “For most people this is kind of: Formulate and express your
own point of view if you want to.”
