This country owes him and Officer Eugene Goodman (the one who distracted and led the rioters away from the senators) a huge debt of gratitude for their brave actions that day. They might have actually saved the republic after Trump was too complicit or incompetent to get the National Guard there in time. Who know what may have happened to Pence and/or Pelosi otherwise.
I get the impression Ashli wasn't that sharp, since she was still just an E-4 after 12 years of service. Guess she learned a lesson that day, just like all the antivaxxers overcrowding the ICUs are learning now.
