Default Hundreds of Texas churches seek approval to leave the failing United Methodist Church

They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

Wonder whose 'approval' they need? They already have God's. "Come out of her My people."

From what has been written about these churches, it appears each of them has contractual obligations and property ties with the main Methodist corporation.

If this is the case, they must pay the price of breaking the covenants they have with the main corporation.

For example, if their meeting house is owned or mortgaged to the main corporation
they eihter make a deal or abandon the property.

And these corporations use the same principles as the mystery babylonians' system. Come out and be not partakers in her sins.

    What's that?

There is a World Methodist Council. No doubt there are legal obligations between it and separate churches, which is why they need PERMISSION to bail out.

Basically, it is the world's system, as opposed to God's instructions. The question of who owns the property? How was it "financed"? Interest collecting and controlling the laity lead to 'slavery', not liberty.

Ah, yes. The roots of capitalism can be traced back to ancient Babylon. It's not without its positive influence. I would add though, no record of corporate structure, which tends to define modern capitalism, has been found in the ruins of Babylon.

I have no problem with "Capitalism" based on God's instructions. It is the "Financialism" that is the problem.
