Questions: Is Jesus the Messiah prophesied of in the OT? Have you received Him as your Lord & Savior, been washed in His blood? Do you teach/preach the risen One? THIS is the gospel, the good news.

Believing there is a gospel of the OT and a gospel of the NT is error and explains why she has wrong theology in many areas. I only pray people will read the scriptures for themselves and see her errors.

You are making a false accusation. I back up my statements with proof. Where is your proof?

    whoa, whoa, whoa

guys, we are not going to bring arguments from other boards, or call someone out on something from another board, here on this board. discussions from other places should stay there. if everyone wants to have THAT discussion from THAT board, it can happen there.

This particular teaching covers so many of the bases regarding issues of Law and Grace, a topic that comes up time and again, really, really well.

    No, Shimri.

You took offense at a teaching I'd be willing to bet cash money that you didn't even listen to.

Going after me on this thread has been a simple case of you (and the other Torah folk) trolling.

    Exclamation Caveat!

The Chapel and its sub forums is a place for Christian discussion not a place for trolling and tearing down one another.

"It's been interesting and demonstrative to see the reaction of the Judaizing faction to the OP - a couple simply dismissed the OP; others simply ignored it and started flinging every Judaizing doctrine at the wall hoping some would stick, copying and pasting away, machine-gunning so much material that those unfamiliar with sound doctrine might be swayed. This shows the weakness of your positions; the religious, controlling spirit behind the doctrines you espouse can't stand up to measured, steady, scrutiny."

You were wanting a reaction, and you got it.

I listened to it. Was not my cup of tea.

Not going after you, but the false doctrines that you espouse.

So Jesus preached the washing in His blood, and preached the risen one?

"Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom."

"Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel""

"They departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere"

"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature"

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you"

Preaching the Gospel is preaching OBEDIENCE.

    100%

    been washed in His blood?
    You got it

Do you teach/preach the risen One?
Yes, I do, and I preach obedience to the Risen One, My King, who washed me with His blood, so that I may follow Him.

So the weakness revealing, controlling methods of defending doctrine that won't stand up to scrutiny are:
    !.dismiss
    2.ignore
    3.quote wall of doctrine
    4.copy and paste material
    5.machine gunning material

Yes, I see it all clearly now.

of course we can't forget weak arguement number six...

    6. Exposing the hypocricy of pointing out 1-5.

These are the thngs about these debates here and elsewhere that I just don't get....why can't they be honest discussions rather than straw?
But what weapons can you use to dispossess someone who will not accept anything except Holy Scripture interpreted according to his own rules?...Where Lutheranism reigns, learning dies. They seek only two things: good pay and a wife. The gospel offers them the rest — that is, the power of living as they please.

I understand now how Arius and Tertullian and Wickliff were driven into schism by malicious clergy and wicked monks.
