I'm not suggesting a ban on SSRIs, only a look at what role, if any, they played in the events.

The problem I see with SSRI's, on the whole, is not that they need to be banned, but just like antibiotics not all people will react the same way to an SSRI and this has to do with the individual type of mental illness each patient is suffering from! ie one patient may be schizoid due to physical injury, while another may be schizoid due to a chemical imbalance of sorts, the end result is the same drug won't have the same effect on every patient. My neighbor is bi-polar, severly so, she didn't respond to any of the bi-polar meds but intetestingly enough responds to one of the schizoid meds and shock treatment.

Big pharma would have us believe that one pill cures all disease when this couldn't be further from the truth.
