Tell that to the Earth Nazis!
Earth Hour is STUPID!

RUSH is the one who was ranting about it last week.
He said he was gonna buy a huge spotlight - and light up his neighbors house too

It is 8:30 local time. All the lights go on then. All the lights. Don't forget the security lights. turn them on too. If someone complains, I will ask them how many solar panels they have on their roof.

These people are MORONS.

I plan on making sure every single light is on in my house. That is unless this vicious storm knocks power out again

Well at least I can take a break from constantly going behind my husband turning off lights for an hour:) I can't count how many times a day I shut off the bathroom light. If I start right now, he should manage to have turned on every light in the house by 8:30!

Oops. 15 minutes away and I don't have all my lights on yet.

Better get busy and do my part.

I started out the day picking up a load of hay from my dad's farm with with the Detroit gas guzzler. Then proceeded to do my usual Saturday housework...eight loads of laundry washed and dried including all the beds, two loads in the dishwasher, and scrubbing all the floors in the house while roasting a 20 lb turkey.

I just got done helping stack the hay, finished barn chores and (because I'm tired) hauled my butt down the road to the mailbox in the same Detroit gas guzzler. Now I need to put the turkey dinner on the table...and if I want to run the dishwasher and watch a movie tonight when I finally am able to call it a day, I'm gonna do it.

Welcome to a typical day in flyover country Algore. I work 40 hours a week, and Saturday is usually like this every week. Al, you can eat my socks. I'm not turning out the lights.

That's hilarious! I'll send mine over to your place and he can leave stacks of paper and tools everywhere for you!

I feel like Earth Hour would be a good thing if it wasnt an event encouraged by complete nutjobs. Saving energy is a good message, but global warming... whatever. So I'm with ya'll. Burn it while we can!

Agreed the only reason I'll turn my lights off is because the grid went down. And it's cold here tonight so I really hope these clowns don't cause a power surge - I may turn my computer off though, just in case there is a surge.
