Exactly right. The government will not do the obviously stupid thing with immediate consequences. Everybody waiting for nationwide martial law or some such is living in a fantasy land. There are hundreds of other points of leverage that they will use against you as well. Need to renew your driver's license, business license, or dog license? Sorry, we can't do that until Fed gov has received and approved your firearms disposal inventory. That bench warrant won't have cops kicking down your door, but they'll sure as hell take you in and impound your vehicle if they pull you over for something as minor as a blown light. Good luck getting your car back until you have turned in your firearms disposal inventory. On the up side, once you are locked in a cage, they will be able to search your house in safety and will probably fill out the paperwork for you. Want to fly on a plane? Bummer. That's a no go until you get yourself off of the no fly list by turning in your paperwork.

They aren't going to come after you with guns. Not most people anyway. They are going to come after you with an ever-widening web of bureaucracy.

Toward the end of the article, the author makes an interesting statement/observation; "Why do you think they’ve let you have guns for this long? Because those guns have given you a false sense of security and kept you from doing something truly dangerous, like mass-organizing to pull all your money out of the big banks and to vote out the incumbents." So where is the mass organizing? The Tea Party? That was co-opted within a week of it's birth. Also, within days the media made fun of the "tea baggers," a pornographic reference and most folks who were all hot to join up, left before the party started.

So, who do you vote for? Keep the establishment? Easy, vote for Hitler ....er.... Hillary, or don't vote. Vote for Trump? Who knows what you're going to get?

How does anybody even get a disparate group like this in one physical location to march on DC with ropes and pitch forks? Wanna march on the banks and do some damage?

Donald Trump Running Against “A Rigged System” – A Death Knell To Traditional Politics…

When the FBI released the Hillary Clinton interview documents on the Friday before labor day even the insufferable leftist media flinched. The timing of the release was entirely too obvious, too visible, too representational of the system being rigged.
The data within the release was additionally damaging toward the entire construct of “trust in government”. Further erosion of public confidence is the consequence.

Which leads an intelligent person to wonder if James Comey isn’t intentionally trying to burn down the system. After all, he’s not a stupid man.
When a system, any system, or even “the system“, is so horribly corrupt there’s always a rebound effect possible in direct proportion to the severity of the corruption. No systems of governance (or of any sort) can stay tilted toward systemic corruption forever (see Venezuela). The best the indulgent power agents can do is postpone the inevitable correction as long as possible.
At the time of the correction, the indulgent stakeholders in the epicenter of the corruption will be taken out first, immediately and with extreme prejudice. History is full of examples of this corrective action; from beheading and revolution, to tar and feathers and pitchforks.
The corrective severity is proportional to scope of betrayal felt by those harmed within the system. Insider agents beg mercy – but historically little mercy is ever shown.
This truism seems to highlight the construct of the support behind candidate Donald Trump, and simultaneously helps understand the mindset of his ‘at-risk’ adversaries.
Now, it’s a little odd put this way, but the UniParty (writ large) would be wise to look in the wake of candidate Donald Trump, and witness his adversaries:
• Jeb Bush spent almost $150 million. Trump torched that effort like throwing a lit sparkler on a cotton ball soaked in jet fuel {{{poof}}}. Next?
• Billionaire mogul Rupert Murdoch unleashed a billion dollar multi-faceted media enterprise, with a similar outcome as a result. {{{poof}}}. Next?
• Twenty-five billionaires, a conglomeration of the worlds most powerful media elites (or so they call themselves), met in Sea Island Georgia. Tens of millions of expenditures later and what was the result. More wasted cotton balls. {{{poof}}}. Same. Next?

Almost all of Hollywood, the music industry, the biggest social media owners/operators, the entirety of the U.S. legacy media, 99% of Wall Street, the entire apparatus of the DC professional apparatchik, K-Street, the entire consulting class, every grievance organization ever established, hundreds of millions, heck, billions, all of it…. ALL OF IT, targeting thermonuclear unidirectional fire at a single focus point, Donald Trump.
Yet, incredibly they’re having no more success than all the efforts that preceded them.
Stunningly remarkable.
Remarkable, until you recognize something they don’t.
The systemic corruption is so transparent, the scope of the rigged system is so completely visible (see Clinton), the various interest groups are now completely naked to their enemies. And their enemy is “us”.
All of us.
And, almost comically, we are invisible to them.
Their unified echo-chamber is so hardened, their ideological bias so entrenched, they can’t even see the bias exhibited last night by fellow traveler NBC’s Matt Lauer while moderating the Commander-in-Chief forum.

The viewing audience can see the bias. But the MSM, and those who are benefiting from the rigged system, are blind to it. To them, it’s just normal; hey, pass the cannolis.
However, there are a few watchtower guards who can see what’s pending; but they dare not mention it without treading very carefully. No-one near the bunker-minded want to be left off any invitations to the exclusive dates of feasting. So they mostly keep quiet.

But they know.
